I was just sitting around eating bon bons.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
Someone worked hard for something, but the result turned out to be not satisfactory. Then you can say “You know what they say about 'good intentions'?”.
Keep your bitch on a leash.
“bitch” can mean both female dog or nasty woman.
